Tell us a little about yourself?
I’ve been living downtown Toronto on the harbourfront area for the past 14 years. I absolutely love Toronto and everything it has to offer, specifically the vibrant downtown core. I find myself visiting my cottage in Muskoka on the weekends or traveling around the world whenever I have free time. I have a passion for exploring the world and visiting cultures I have never seen before. As I get older this excitement seems to only increase with time which is absolutely ok with me.
What inspires you with real estate in Toronto and the GTA?
I have been helping my clients with their investment goals since 2006 as a Professional Financial Planner and more recently as a Real Estate Agent over the last 5 years. I find the housing market to be the most interesting and possibly profitable investment a person can make in their lifetime. Allowing me to be a part of the real estate process and helping people achieve their lifetime goals is what truly inspires me. The outcome of a strategic real estate investment can prove extremely beneficial and success can be directly linked to a great realtor. Witnessing the outcome is what I strive for.
What advice would you give to potential first time home or condo buyers & sellers?
Everyone needs to start somewhere so I definitely suggest creating a detailed financial plan for your future and to start saving for your first home. I highly recommend listening to the advice of your real estate agent, mortgage broker and anyone else that you rely on investment advice from because this could be one of the greatest purchases of your life.
As an avid travel photographer, share some stories of your favourite locales for shooting footage & photography?
When I travel I always pack my DSLR along with three lenses. A wide angle lens 10-20mm for shooting landscapes, a 50mm lens for shooting portraits and a regular zoom lens depending on the location. I will shoot everywhere I travel in the world and always have my camera in my backpack to shoot during golden hours like sunrise or sunset. Toronto is one of the most photographed cityscapes/landscapes in the world and my favourite spots to shoot are during sunset in places like the island, Distillery District and the harbourfront. My favourite place is actually from the rooftop of my condo for epic CN Tower/cityscape shots.
And most importantly, favourite type or style of coffee?
Americano or Cappuccino type of guy. However I’m actually more of a tea drinker and drink 3 or 4 teas daily starting with black tea in the morning, green tea in the afternoon and herbal tea at night. However I did just return from Costa Rica/Nicaragua and absolutely love the coffee from there. I brought home 3 packages of Nicaraguan coffee (along with some rum). I think I have rekindled my love with coffee again.
